I came to USA about 20 some years ago. When I first came here, I was size 4 or 5. I am a petite woman. But as soon as I moved here in state, I have learned to eat unhealthy or you call it junk food. also I got pregnant with my 2nd son and during the pregnancy, I have gained 70 lb. However, at that time I was still young and had lots of energy. So with in the 2 years, I was able to lose about 60 lb. with diet and exercise. Since then til now, I have been repeating ...
Hi Spark People,

I came to USA about 20 some years ago. When I first came here, I was size 4 or 5. I am a petite woman. But as soon as I moved here in state, I have learned to eat unhealthy or you call it junk food. also I got pregnant with my 2nd son and during the pregnancy, I have gained 70 lb. However, at that time I was still young and had lots of energy. So with in the 2 years, I was able to lose about 60 lb. with diet and exercise. Since then til now, I have been repeating yo-yo kind of diet and not good enough nutrition. I was so shock to see my wight is creeping up like when I was pregnant. I am a mid age now, and realized I need to do something now, before its too late..

I have been a member of Spark People couple of years now. But was never serious about my weight problem. ( I should have..but I didn't, I was avoiding to see the truth..) and had not even created a personal profile when I joined back in 2007. But I now have my Spark Page, since September of 2012. Same time I have started real streak doing exercise and eating healthy as much as I can.

On the 5/4/13 I finally met my original goal weight to lose 50 Lbs. Now I set a new goal weight as I still feel needs improvement of reduction of fat from my back and back of arms, and inner thigh. Also need lots of Strength Training for sure.

One of good things happened to me was that I have decided to joined Winter to Spring 5 % challenge back in 1/31/13 and till challenge had over on 4/23/13, I've able to lose 10% of my total body weight. I had a great time with my teammate and the challenge. That puts me to accountable on my weight management. And it did gave me a kind of Jump Starts on my health journey. I am ready to take on another challenge in my life. As to speak, I have signed up on Spring to Summer 5% challenge And I am looking forwards to my new challenge and new me.

My Goals:
My original goal was to lose about 40 pounds. Thank goodness, so far I've been doing good and I did lost 49 pounds so far since started my streak on mid September 2012.

Now is May of 2013, I've Renewed my goals and start fresh. My new goal will be lose another 6 pounds more. Thanks to Spring 5% challenge I joined, As of now finally I was able to achieve in the renege of Acceptable healthy BMI. I want to be come truly healthy for general standard and looks fit.

My Program:
*Try to get my daily goal of walking 4 mile a day.
* Work harder for my Strength training.
*Drink lots of water!!
* Don't give in to whatever.
* Stop late night craving.
* No food at bed room.
* Do my very best for all.

** For my Summer 5% challenge, I'll do my very best to complete all the above goal !! I can do this, and I must do this !!

Thank you for visiting my spark page. How fun to go to your grandson's christening. Sorry about the overeating. It is so hard when the food is available. I know because I have that problem too. LOL I've been doing really good with exercise, but not to great with food. I am learning that depression leads me to the munchies. So far I have been balancing up/down a pound, but I know I need to reign it in before it gets out of hand. Bill has been having a lot of pain and the last couple of days he has fallen a couple of times which is really worrisome because the cancer affects his bones so I worry he will break something. Anyway today I bought him a cane to have with him just for security. Thanks for asking. I am trying to keep a positive outlook, but it is hard when he feels so badly. Have an emoticon week. emoticon emoticon
