8 pounds is an awesome start!
If you use the food tracker and look at the calorie differential report (reports page under my trackers) it'll give you an excellent understanding of how your food impacts your weight loss.
There are fantastic videos for all levels of fitness. I started three months ago with the ones you do while sitting in a chair and I've progressed to an hour a day of varied exercise :)
