I've struggled with my weight since childhood, going through heavy and thin phases. I had been going through a thin phase before getting pregnant with my 2.5 year old. Before I could lose the babyweight, I became pregnany again, with my 1 year old. So, all-in-all, I went from 150, size 10, to 180, size 12/14.

I quit my management position to stay home with my two younger children, just as I stayed home with my now-teens until they went to school. I supplement my income by babysitting another little boy, Owen, who is now 15 months. I'm pretty much homebound every weekeday and while I am very busy, it's not heart-pumping aerobic activity.

Not only so I want to lose the weight but I want to do it in a healthy, fit weight that balances a balanced diet and regular activity and exercise. I'd like to find a friend or two to take this journey with but I am prepared to go it alone. :) That way, I've got no one to lean on but myself, no one to blame but myself and no excuse to make excuses.
