MY WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY

My name is Michelle. I have been overweight since I was a teenager. At the age of 42, I am now at my heaviest weight ever. I need to lose 90+ pounds.

I commit to the Winter -1 5% Challenge to lose 10.5 pounds. I commit to exercising at least 10 minutes of cardio exercise daily and 25-30 minutes of strength training exercise 6 days a week. I will follow my own diet making HEALTHY changes/choices with SparkPeople's help and guidance. I plan on making an eating and exercise plan ...

My Goals:
LONG TERM GOALS
1) Lose 90 pounds by November 9, 1012
2) Only drink Pepsi occasionally if ever.

MID TERM GOALS
1) Lose 45 pounds this year. This equals 1 pound each week.
2) Cut back to 1 can of Pepsi each week.

SHORT TERM GOALS
1) Lose 1 pounds each week.
2) Complete 10+ minutes of cardio each day.
3) Complete 25-30 minutes of strength training 6 days a week.
4) Stop eating 3 hours before bed
5) Cut back to 1 can of Pepsi each day.

My Program:
Cardio exercises: Walking, Zumba, Exercise bike, Walk Away the Pounds, Jenny Craig exercise videos, etc. 10 minutes plus daily.

Strength Training:
Upper Body - Mon. & Thurs.
Lower Body - Tues. & Friday
Core Body - Wed. & Saturday

Stop eating 3 hours before bed.

Track every calorie I consume on SparkPeople Tracker.

Hi everyone! My name is Michelle. I am 42 years old. I am a stay at home Mom, with a very special daughter. My husband and I have been married for 11 years. We have 2 cats, 2 dogs, and 2 fish. We live in a country setting, but there is a small city within walking distance.

Hope that you are having a great week with the Butterfly challenge. I have to put in more exercise time for the team but have been rather busy. We can do this.
