Second Time's a Charm

Hello everyone and welcome to my Sparkpage! I joined SparkPeople over the summer, looking to lose a few extra pounds. It didn't work out as planned and once I went back to school I was too stressed to even think about dieting. Now that I've gained back the few pounds I lost and then some, I decided it was REALLY time to stick to my plan.

My Goals:
I want to get down to 125 by November! Hopefully I can do that and really lose some unnecessary belly and thigh fat, yuck.

My Program:
Over the summer, my plan was to excercise every day and semi-watch what I was eating. Now that I'm back at school, I'm way too tired to even think about going to the gym for an hour. This time around, I'm going to really watch what I eat by adding more fruits and veggies and stay away from junk food. After classes I'm going to try going for a walk to clear my head from the school-day stresses.

Personal Information:
I'm a teenager from New Jersey who isn't totally overweight, but feels like she could lose a few pounds if she really wants to. A lot of my friends are pretty skinny and I want to feel like i fit in with them and look as good as they do.

Other Information:
I love art and cooking. I've been drawing my entire life and I've been obsessed with the foodnetwork since I was like, nine. For me, drawing really relaxes me and watching the food network allows me to eat vicariously :) Hopfully I'll have a future in either one of those.

I will tell you a true story that happen several years ago.
I had a dear friend, who was in a bad car accident.
she was in the Intensive Care Unit and I could not go to her.
I cried out to God for help!
I ask Him to give her a Hug and touch her body.
He gave me a Hug.
Yes! God gave me the best holy loving hug of my life.
I am a happy married wife of a great husband but I have never had that much love in a hug before.
If i had died that minute it would have been OK!
