Hi there! I see that you are a new member and believe that you will do great, if you get on the computer every day. Frankly, it would be best if you could get on it early in the AM, but since you have such a long commute to work, that might not be feasible. I have belonged for a loooong time and have not lost much weight, but checking in helps me to, at least, stay stagnant. I am a 77 yr. young retired teacher who still has a lot of "pep in my step". Sometimes, I feel like I'm 42, just like you. I am 5ft. 6-1/2" tall & presently weigh 163 lbs. I was 5'8" tall when I married and weighed 133 lbs. (I'll never see that again.) "Getting old is not for sissies"--I'm sure you've heard of that before. But since you are still young enough to have your weight come off easier, DO IT NOW! Frankly, counting calories is the secret & you will be hungry fir the first week A GREAT deal. Get prepared and buy fruit, fruit, fruit. Apples are the best because they fill you up & have loads of fibre. Getting in 8 glasses of liquid a day is also super. I even count coffee, because I use no sugar & you can use non dairy powder for cream. Then, it's only colored water. Crystal lite is another great thing. Fill up your thermos with crystal lite punch. Delish, and believe me, you will lose. I wouldn't worry about doing 90 min. of exercise every day UNLESS you plan on committing yourself to doing that FOREVER. That's hard. Be realistic. You have to change your eating habits & can go walking every weekend, even if it's at the mall. I notice that when you married, you already were a little chubby so your husband must love you the way you are. GREAT! But what a great surprise it will be for him to be married to someone new--a new YOU. Good luck. MizDiz
