I joined SparkPeople in '06, after reaching my highest weight ever (at that time). I successfully lost 45 lbs and keept it off for about 5 years. Going back to school, moving, having extensive abdominal surgery, and not sleeping resulted in gaining the weight I lost plus 20 more lbs.

While very depressing the only thing to do is to suck it up and get back on track!

i am just starting over so i am just doing 10 minute spurts and this 7 minute workout by denise austin. Starting slow and working my way up to go to the gym. Weekly check in's are probably a good idea.

i agree with you. if i don't stay on spark then it is just too hard to stay on track. I am glad to be back and have the support of great people here. i am engaged and will be planning a wedding sometime in the near future and of course i want to look good on my big day, but i also just want to be healthy and happy for good. That is a good motivation for me but i am not just getting back on track for that reason alone, ya know. Well maybe we can help motivate each other and reach our goals!
