    Thanks for your comments on my blog. I decided to do the fast because the pastor of my church challenged the church members to try fasting. It is a spiritual discipline that has been practiced for centuries. For me personally, I was hoping to grow spiritually as well as learn a little bit more about my body. I decided against doing a complete fast or even a water only fast because I do need to keep up with work and everything and I feared that would not be a good thing for me right now. Plus I had no specific calling to do a complete fast. Therefore I determined that I would do a partial fast (veggies, juice and water). However, as I've begun doing that, I have had a lot of trouble with sticking to just veggies. Last night I decided that I would amend my plan to continue with eating 2 just veggies meals a day, and snacking on veggies, however my third meal will now include legumes, grains, or dairy. Basically I've decided to go vegetarian for the next 2 weeks. I think that will be a more sustainable plan for me.
