My Goals:
I would like to lose about 15 lbs. , get fit with exercise. Tone up!
I would like to age with grace, not excess weight.

My Program:
I'm watching my food portions, exercising on the treadmill and elliptical, and keeping track of my calories daily. Also drinking lots of water!

Personal Information:
I have 5 grown kids between the 2 of us, also our 9th grandchild was born this yr! We live in MI on 4 acres, love our kids, gardening, reading, puzzle books, crafts, diy projects.

Thanks, Shelly! It's been a tough road. I quit smoking about 5 years ago, and the pounds kept creeping on.

You're wise to nip it in the bud! Good luck to you!

We sure have had the snow, eh?

Owosso is a nice town. I used to go through it every Sunday taking my sister back to Flint, where she was going to nursing school.

Wow, good work on that weight loss! you and I have similar goals and I'm determined to get below 150 this week. Your commitment has reinforced in me that this is a doable goal--no excuses why I can't do it. Oh, and no way you look like you are in your 50s. You must take good care of yourself.

Welcome to the 50 + Females Group. I am 55 years old and I recently lost 120 lbs. I have another 45 lbs. to lose. I have not lost any weight in the last few weeks. It has not been easy at times. When you eat properly and incorporate consistent exercise, it gets better.
