My Goals:
My main goal is to make lifestyle changes in order to be a healthier person. I want to be more active, make healthy choices for my food and ultimately get to my goal weight of 145 lbs.

2016 Goals:
1. Get to goal weight
2. Set monthly goals & post in blog
3. Do 3 new hikes
4. Prayer journal daily
5. Read more books than I did in 2014 (59+) and at least 2 classics
6. Photo book for Kenzie's graduation
7. Walk/jog a 5K
8. Clean out laundry room
9. Organize recipes
10. Organize files in desk
11. Resume dance lessons with hubby
12. Play at least 5 holes golf with hubby
13. Volunteer more
14. Finish decorating bedroom

4. Drink 6-8 glasses water daily
5. Eat at least 5 servings of fruits/veggies




Personal Information:
My name is Michele and I live in Oregon. I have an amazing husband and 2 adult children. I love Disneyland and really anything Disney! I also enjoy travel, reading, gardening, hiking, baking, trying new recipes, old movies, workout dvds, Bible study, taking pictures, being with my family and learning new ways to be healthy.

Haven't done so great on the sweet challenge :( Still eating my dark chocolate covered almonds in the evening....

Re: beans - My favorite bean is the "half-runner." I don't know if they grow everywhere, but they are a southern favorite. They are not available in grocery stores here. People have to really like them to mess with them. They have strings that have to be removed. I string and break mine for canning (or fresh cooking). They just have THE best flavor of all green beans - worth the trouble!
