My Goals:
My main goal is to make lifestyle changes in order to be a healthier person. I want to be more active, make healthy choices for my food and ultimately get to my goal weight of 145 lbs.

2015 Goals:
1. Get to goal weight
2. Set monthly goals & post in blog
3. Do 3 new hikes
4. Quiet time daily
5. Read more books than I did in 2014 (53+) and at least 2 classics
6. Contact one out of town friend per month
7. Organize pictures
8. Memorize a Bible verse monthly
9. Organize recipes
10. Paint Kitchen
11. Clean out/organize attic
12. Use cookbooks more
13. Clean out desk/organize files
14. Finish decorating bedroom

1. Plan healthy meals
2. Exercise daily
3. Track food daily
4. 10,000 steps daily
5. Drink 8 glasses water daily
6. Attend WW meetings weekly
7. Stay connected on sparkpeople!

Personal Information:
My name is Michele and I live in Oregon. I have an amazing husband and 2 college-aged kids. I love Disneyland and really anything Disney! I also enjoy travel, reading, gardening, hiking, baking, trying new recipes, old movies, workout dvds, Bible study, taking pictures, being with my family and learning new ways to be healthy.

Haven't done so great on the sweet challenge :( Still eating my dark chocolate covered almonds in the evening....

Re: beans - My favorite bean is the "half-runner." I don't know if they grow everywhere, but they are a southern favorite. They are not available in grocery stores here. People have to really like them to mess with them. They have strings that have to be removed. I string and break mine for canning (or fresh cooking). They just have THE best flavor of all green beans - worth the trouble!

Thanks so much for the SP rainbow! It brightened my day. I am taking things one day at a time and trying to get back to a healthy lifestyle. Actually, was able to take a 2.5 mile walk today. I think my pups are in shock we started walking again. I should be able to pay more attention to myself and the book club so that's a good thing. Saw you are going on vacation.
