Just a gal. Traveled extensively with DH military career, settled in a small, tiny 2,000 population rural Midwest area upon retirement.
Love the space and cost of living. The actual 'living' is a bit stifling and it's a pretty lonely isolated existence. Luckily, I can entertain myself for weeks! ;)
I love all things girly, fashion, makeup, latest skin care discovery etc. but also have a passion to help homeless animals.
Have always wanted to be one of those peaceful, serene, yoga types (I dolove yoga) but that personality just isn't me. I lean toward the flamboyant and am working to just embrace that and not apologize for it!! :)
To be healthy, wealthy and wise! ( I'll settle for the healthy and wise part!)
I would like to lose 40-50lbs within a year or so, but I don't want being 'on a diet' to consume me.
Getting more cardio
Not eating past 8pm.
Tons of distilled water drinking
Daily Yoga and meditation.

Hey girl...I know that you lost a sister already..my sister's cancer was sudden. They thought it was anaplastic so they refused her treatment. Said so home and die...her tissue samples came back squamous and by the time she was given treatment, the cancer had spread throughout her body. What is really bad is that she treated cancer patients for a living...I think that everyone is still in shock and not thinking clearly. She has no immune system left...no WBC and RBC too low to count. She is at home with hospice and having visitors is the last thing she needs. I've been going to my mom's and taking video's and sending them to her. My sister no longer can talk, but she seems to enjoy the video's. It's hard to have this going on and trying to eat healthy and exercise...But, when I get upset I get on the treadmill and go go go! I pray for a miracle but unless I can get her to see the Pope...I don't know. It is tough, but you know that. I am taking it one day at a time. And, I have surgery next week and I haven't told anyone cuz of every thing that is going on.

Hi sweetie...I hope your mom is doing better...the book idea is a great one! if mom is experiencing any memory loss or dementia, a book with familiar pictures of her family with names...the house you all grew up in...friends...if she is talking about her mom (as if she's still living right now) don't tell her that she died...just say she's away with friends (you don't want to upset her)..talk to her and tell her the news of the day, even if she is confused about it...just having you there with her to talk to will make her feel better...
oh yes..anything you can bring from home that she especially likes, bring it to her room...the more familiar things she sees, the more comfortable she will feel...
God bless you both and if there is anything else I can do for you, please let me know!

So sorry you are losing your neighbors trees. We used to have a tree line across from our house. I almost cried when they timbered their place. All the beautiful redbuds were knocked over and all the other woods gone. We felt so private before that.
Okay woman, that is a LOT of purses. Maybe you can sell them back and get some of your money back. Or just use a different one everyday.
