Trying to find my new groove

2013 was my year of change. I lost close to 70 pounds and was well on my way to my goal of 100 pounds gone forever. March 2014 brought on an unexpected injury. I am adjusting to being less mobile and having to re-learn how to lose weight without the heavy cardio I was depending on. Working hard at Physical Therapy so that I can hike, run and exercise like I want to. Teaching myself that it's okay to have set backs, to get back on the horse. Even if I have to change what was working for me - I ...

My Goals:
My goal is to lose 100 pounds.

My Program:
I work out and count calories, fat and fiber (basically Classic Weight Watchers). I use an app to track my calories and fitness.

Other Information:
I track everything I put in my mouth on a phone app called "Diet Watchers Diary" - it has the classic Weight Watchers POINTS which I love. I have tracked on SP too and it came out in my range. If anyone wants an example of my daily foods, I'd be happy to provide one. I stay between 1500-1600 a day (and a tiny bit more when I burn a ton of calories)

Thanks for the sweet blog comment! I'm also glad you've tried those bagel thins and greek cream cheese! They ARE delish, right? :-) I am totally addicted to the bagel thins because it's a full "two pieces" for a sandwich, but only 100 calories so all my calories aren't in two lousy pieces of bread at 100 cals each. :-) I'm kinda addicted to Peanut Butter right now... trying to be moderate at eating it because it can be a bit heavy, but it tastes like Happy :-D

Hope you have a better day than what it seems like it is!

Thanks for your comment on my blog! When in doubt, I dirty every measuring cup in the house for a few days. It's so easy to lose track of what you're really eating, and it makes me feel better to know that I'm doing EVERYTHING that I can. I ran again today and thought of you. I sometimes push too hard and put myself at risk of injury. Today I took a short break, rather than hit the wall and I still had a successful day.

I might finish that section without breaking NEXT time we try it.

LOL... I just read your comment and started cracking up. "ehhh... just put some ice cream on it." Yeah, that's me for sure. Hahaha.

Did you just die over True Blood or what?! I think I just sat there staring at the screen for a solid 60 seconds, like "Did that really just happen? Just like that? REALLY?" I can't even imagine what next week holds. Oh lord.

Harry Potter... couldn't agree more. The "comfort food" of books... so true! I'm dying to go to ol' Harry Potter world down in Florida, but who knows when that might happen. That ish is expensive!

YOU ARE RIGHT! The butter tasting was DIVINE on so many levels! I normally barely butter my rolls at a restaurant, so to ORDER BUTTER...on purpose....AS THE APPETIZER... that was pretty fun! haha We really enjoyed it!

LOVE corn on the cob too! I just hate when it gets in my teeth.... blargh! But not as bad as when the shell of a popcorn kernel gets stuck between your teeth OR to the back of your throat!!! emoticon haha

TRY THE BAGEL THING!!!! Girl, that lunch for me... is seriously like.... 220 calories if you include the apple on the side!!! And it's filling enough! I get the Bagel Thins (which that way I get the taste of a bagel, but a full sandwich kinda...) and then I discovered Greek Yogurt Cream Cheese at the supermarket (which is healthier and has more protein, and a lovely tangy bite to it).... do that...with slices of cucs.... dill.... AND OUILA! Gotta try it!!!!!

Thanks for all of the encouragement!!! I really appreciate your feedback and support! I'll try to find lots of non-scale victories this month! :-) Have a lovely day! ENJOY YOUR CHIPOTLE!
