Trying to find my new groove

2013 was my year of change. I lost close to 70 pounds and was well on my way to my goal of 100 pounds gone forever. March 2014 brought on an unexpected injury. I am adjusting to being less mobile and having to re-learn how to lose weight without the heavy cardio I was depending on. Working hard at Physical Therapy so that I can hike, run and exercise like I want to. Teaching myself that it's okay to have set backs, to get back on the horse. Even if I have to change what was working for me - I ...

My Goals:
My goal is to lose 100 pounds.

My Program:
I work out and count calories, fat and fiber (basically Classic Weight Watchers). I use an app to track my calories and fitness.

Other Information:
I track everything I put in my mouth on a phone app called "Diet Watchers Diary" - it has the classic Weight Watchers POINTS which I love. I have tracked on SP too and it came out in my range. If anyone wants an example of my daily foods, I'd be happy to provide one. I stay between 1500-1600 a day (and a tiny bit more when I burn a ton of calories)

I would LOVE some of your soup recipes! I have quite a few! I've been trying to push them back for as long as possible because I know that once his school starts, we'll be doing more of these... PLUS, soup is better in fall/winter than Spring/Summer. :-)

I'd love some of your faves for sure! Some of my faves (if you're interested for the recipes) are: Garlicky Tortellini Soup, White Chicken Chili, MY homemade chili (though not much of a recipe to it), Hubby's Beef/Turkey Veggie Soup (which could just be veggie soup if you want, or you could add noodles)...

I feel like there are more...but I cannot remember them right now. OH, one of them is Buffalo Chicken soup...but it's NOT healthy and more of a once in a while treat...

YAY! :-) WE can do this!

Glad you love my little furbabies! They're the sweetest! Serena is more my hubby's than mine. She's really not my favorite personality-wise..but I love her anyways. She's a silly one.

Yah! It IS crazy how we notice just a slight gain! I know my "yay I fit in my shorts" shorts were a little tighter, so I noticed it that way. But I'm not too worried. I'll probably weigh myself on Saturday as per normal (once a week). The next time after that won't be until August 16th because we'll be going to my parent's house and I won't be able to weigh-in at my normal scale at the YMCA. Therefore, I'm gonna have to wait about two weeks before I can weigh myself again after this Saturday.

That turkey burger recipe sounds lovely!!!! I'll have to try it out! I've tried buffalo style...italian style...and now we're trying this "ranch cheddar" style... so much you can do! YUM!!!

Have a lovely day!!!

Thanks for the sweet blog comment! I'm also glad you've tried those bagel thins and greek cream cheese! They ARE delish, right? :-) I am totally addicted to the bagel thins because it's a full "two pieces" for a sandwich, but only 100 calories so all my calories aren't in two lousy pieces of bread at 100 cals each. :-) I'm kinda addicted to Peanut Butter right now... trying to be moderate at eating it because it can be a bit heavy, but it tastes like Happy :-D

Hope you have a better day than what it seems like it is!

Thanks for your comment on my blog! When in doubt, I dirty every measuring cup in the house for a few days. It's so easy to lose track of what you're really eating, and it makes me feel better to know that I'm doing EVERYTHING that I can. I ran again today and thought of you. I sometimes push too hard and put myself at risk of injury. Today I took a short break, rather than hit the wall and I still had a successful day.

I might finish that section without breaking NEXT time we try it.
