I am back again because I had to remind myself once again that I am worth the effort. If I don't model that for him how can I expect him to come by it on his own. He is my world and nothing is too good for him, therefore I need to remember that nothing is too good for me. The time I spend on myself isn't just for me, its also for him and that makes all the difference in the world!

My Goals:
My goal is to get back down to about 140 pounds. My weight has fluctuated between there and 170 or so for years now. Time to get back to the low end and stay there. I broke my shoulder pretty bad about 3 yrs ago and am still a little weak in that arm so that's a bit of an extra challenge for me.

My Program:
My exercise is largely in the form of cycling, which is way easier on my joints than running, and strength training (just with body weight resistance for now).

Personal Information:
I am married with a 7 yr old son and 3 stepsons who are between 15 and 21. I live in Minnesota and end up huddling up inside every winter and regretting it every spring.

Thanks for commenting on my blog. Get used to imprecise speech, because I've noticed it is getting worse! On a side but related note, this past week the State of Florida decided to lower the student standards for writing because state testing showed that the majority of schools did poorly, and they wanted the schools to pass. Really?!
