Michael's Winter 2014 Comeback!

I've since changed them and now my body is beginning to reflect my actual exercise and diet. But it's hard to put down the sweets, since they are sometimes the only good part of my life.

I'd like to be significantly below 200 by the end of the summer and stay there for three weeks. (That is maintain a weight below 195 consistently). Then, lose a bit more weight, then maintain, and so on.

This time, I cannot afford to slip up! Middle age is not very forgiving.

Good to see some activity on your page. I joined the Classical Music Lovers team shortly after beginning with SparkPeople. Nothing has happened since I signed on, really. Best wishes keeping motivated and working hard.

Thanks for commenting on my blog. I used to swim but always quit after a few weeks. I think the bike is going to be right for me now. I keep it outside so I have fresh air and a nice view and can listen to NPR or Pandora.

Hi, Michael. Thanks for adding me as a friend. I added you back :) I think it was a sign: I've been neglecting my cello dreadfully. I love looking at it - I have one of those stands that's like a velvet lined box where the cello stands upright - but I haven't been playing. My "excuse" was that my teacher was on the road so much last year. She plays in Yanni's band. I'm going to check out your classical music team as well.

My son got really hooked on WoW and quit twice. He is 21, and the money part got to be prohibitive (yay college poverty!). He is still a gamer, but has made a good shift in balancing things. I brought my violin on vacation . . . a little playing would feel good right now . . . Thanks for the stability ball! I have one at home and I like it!

Merci pour votre commentaire sur mon blog.
Je ne savais pas qu'il y avait un "classical music lovers"-team. Je vais y jeter un coup d'oeil!

Bonne journé!
