I have been a Sparker since the 28th of November, 2007, and I couldn't be happier with the information I've gained and the weight I've lost in the past!
I have fallen off the Spark train, though, and am back to get into a healthy shape and body, while I have the time off during the summer months! I am working towards my original fitness level of running or exercising each day. Currently, my goal is to participate completely in the "Sweatsuit to Swimsuit" challenge.
I'm wiping the slate clean and starting new, for the second time! This time, I'm using new groups, new support systems, and a focus on the fitness side of being healthy. With a few new healthy eating habit goals, I hope to reach my overall health goals by October, 2012.
I completed my second exercise study through the local university last year. I lifted weights 3 days a week and took a supplement. Once the study ended, though, so did my activity.
By the way, I'm engaged! So of course, I am working towards a wedding-dress friendly body! We hope to have a date set for the 2013 summertime, after several years of being together (7+)!
Keep up the positive attitudes and keep on working towards a healthier you!
Drink 8 glasses of water 75% of the days each week (for now).
Eat more fruits and veggies each day (at least 2 servings of each for now).
Stick to my exercise routines!
I am starting fresh, again! I try to look at it in a positive way - at least I keep coming back to Spark! At one point, I made it to the last stage of spreading the spark, but I fell out of routine and began to feel that I would not be the best person to "spread the Spark". I'm back for round three and cannot wait to start seeing some results from my hard work.
The tips and ideas that can be found from members on the message boards is very useful, and I recommend that everyone take some time in speaking with the Spark community!
I'm from the great state of Kansas. I live with my fiance and my three dogs in a 2 bedroom apartment - full house!
I am a teacher in Kansas, focusing on 6th grade reading in a middle school. Everyday brings new challenges, both mental and physical! I strive to maintain a balance, but have lost that, so here I am, back to Sparking!
