Thanks for the advice for DH. I'll check the wedge out. I have been piling pillows for him so he wouldn't be flat but I'm not sure how that affects his back. I'm pushing the OTC meds now, especially those marked "night" in hopes that will help him sleep. He got a couple of hours this morning and I'm hoping for more this afternoon.

You didn't miss my birthday. Someone apparently misread a list or something. My birthday is in November. This year it's the same day as Thanksgiving. emoticon Does that make me a turkey? emoticon emoticon

I'm glad I got out for coffee too. I really needed that. I was starting to get anxious.

I hope your day is fabulous!!

My DH is not the best of patients. He has his mobility and back pain problems but he rarely succumbs to illness so I hear lots and lots of complaining. We can't figure out where he could have gotten it since he rarely goes out except to the Clinic (I suppose that's a den of germs). Thankfully I have not also gotten sick and my stepsister is recovered from cataract surgery and can check in on Dad. I think it would help if DH could get some sleep but all his coughing makes that hard. I just keep trying to find a med or situation (like changing pillow configuration) to help that along. He'll get better. I just wish it could be sooner than later.

Thanks for your support and encouragement!!

Shabby Chic Client: Basically the living room is really just the same, a little change here and there. My professional Organizer GF put in a new closet unit so I am helping her with that. Elizabeth Gorek has finished the painting for the dining room so I will take some photos...The nursery is almost done, per her taste, not mine. She really has unusual taste along with her hubby. Speaking of hubby, he fought with me every tooth and nail, even the colors of the towels in the master bathroom. So it hasn't really been a blast working with Him to say the least. We are waiting for area rugs so I can pick out a duvet and shams, same goes in the guest room. Just lots of little things, nothing grand. Oh, great planter outside the front door. I will snap photos of everything when I go there next week.

Mary, thank you for your sweet comment! And for the soup goodie and an earlier one I haven't acknowledged. You are one of the most thoughtful people on SP, and I'm sure I'm just one of many who appreciate your loving kindness. Take care, sweet friend

Following the guidelines of The Obesity Code-- is the reason I have not wanted snacks, why I don't crave and why I am finally satisfied with my meals.

Lo carb/ Healthy Fats--is way easier than I thought. If you are interested in learning more--watch some of the peruse the recipes and lectures on Dr Jason Fung videos or search you tube for Sarah Hallberg videos.
