I want to get Healthy & Active!

Hi,
My name is Mary and I am a young 62 years old. I have some health issues and need a double knee replacement, but first must lose weight so it is all easier to do and to recuperate. I am attractive and look younger than I am. I am married and want to play a more active role in activities than I can now as a disabled woman! I want to be more active and involved in life!

Good to hear that! I know things like vertigo can take some time to get rid of, but to me it seems like there has to be some underlying condition in this case- labyrinthitis or Meniere's or something! Especially if your meds don't seem to help very much.

Thanks for the blog comment and the goodie. I would be a lot more pleased with losing 80 lbs if I hadn't already lost 110 lbs and gained almost 40 of it back! lol

I'm not sure why my weight kept climbing last week, I eat the same thing each week for my free day, pizza, salad and a soda. I typically don't eat dinner on my free day because I had enough food at lunch, but I might have had something last Saturday evening... I haven't checked my food tracker :) Either way, I got rid of the excess and posted a small loss, so it all worked out in the end :)

Since you asked....
Pedi at home.
Mix 1/2c vinegar (white or apple cider) & 1/2c of mouthwash ( any kind) into your warm soak water. Soak 20 - 30 minute, until the water cools off. It helps with the exfoliation of dead skin. It helps with calluses, unless you hate shoes, like me. emoticon

I can't afford mani/pedi's.... so I do my own feet. I still want pretty feet. The pedi lasts longer. I don't worry about getting a fungus at a salon.

They came out great. I probably want need to redo it until Labor Day.
We must pamper ourselves, even when $$$ is tight.
