I want to get Healthy & Active!

My name is Mary and I am a young 62 years old. I have some health issues and need a double knee replacement, but first must lose weight so it is all easier to do and to recuperate. I've been using the sleep and relaxation CDs; sometimes they help and sometimes they don't; I think I need to give them more time to work though, it takes practice to turn off my thoughts at night and give my mind the full attention to the CDs.

Mary, you are so good for me! Thanks for putting a positive spin on my Easter Bunny incident. I'm sure you were right about the blood sugar, too, because I ate a skimpy breakfast since we were planning to eat out for lunch, then I had a salad for lunch. My only carbs were one rice cake with breakfast. I'll try to remember that if I get cranky in the future, but I hope I can avoid any further grumpiness by keeping a better eye on my carbs.
Mr. Slinky has a Winston Churchill "Damn the torpedoes! Full speed ahead" attitude about the rain. I checked him out, and he looks fairly water resistant. I probably shouldn't take him swimming, but I think he'll survive a rain shower or two.
