I want to get Healthy & Active!

Hi,
My name is Mary and I am a young 63 years old. I have some health issues and need a double knee replacement, but first must lose weight so it is all easier to do and to recuperate. I am attractive and look younger than I am. I am married and want to play a more active role in activities than I can now as a disabled woman! I want to be more active and involved in life!

June 17th! That's when the new season of Orange begins.

Those episodes about the kosher meals were really good. I loved it.

However, African Americans are the last people we should question. I recently studied the Lemba who live in South Africa.
They are a Bantu-speaking people with Jewish ancestry and they observe Jewish tradition and have Jewish names. They are so devout that they burn their Torah into wood rather than write it on paper - they want to make sure that no one ever changes a single word of it, just as the Torah commands.
White folks don't even do that.

I wonder why I confuse you with buttonpopper1? It is indeed a mystery Mary.

When the time is right, I want to hear all about Maggie. I want to know what she was like, her personality, how did she make you laugh, all the good stuff.
I wish I could give you a long and special hug in person Carolyn. I am so sorry this day did not go well for you and there is lots of tension in your world. Anger is not good. I decided a long time ago to deal with unpleasantries without anger and somehow I have been able to deal with stuff a much better way. Talking always helps but if your partner refuses, then the whole concept is futile. Marriage is so hard. I was in it for 20 years and I don't think I ever was "in love" during that whole time. I wonder sometimes if I will be single for the rest of my life, and it doesn't scare me one bit. I truly love living alone (with a dog of courseā€¦.;o) Anyways, back to you. If there is anything I can do or say, do let me know. I am thinking of you and adding a candle to my collection for you. Love and hugs, fredie

Mary, emoticon for taking time to read and comment on my recent blog post! And thank you for the compliments on my hair! I wore it a little shorter last summer, and I liked it, and he actually complimented me on it the day I got it done, but I just wasn't sure I wanted to lose my length so I didn't go there. I may still later, and yes, just roughly shoulder length or a tad above it all the shorter I meant.

Thank you for your perspective on "battling through that plateau"! I needed to hear that to remind me that I didn't simply waste a month making no progress, which was how I felt about it. I appreciate your support. Isn't the SparkPeople community emoticon ?
