Thanks so much for adding me as a friend! I lived in DC for 10 years. I was a designer at the Smithsonian Museum of History and Technology. It's called something else now...I don't remember the new name. Washington was a wonderful place to live and to work also. So many nice things were free. We used to go to the 4th of July celebration, to the free concerts at the Carter Barron and the plays at Ford's Theater, and concerts that the National Symphony gave near the Watergate and in the Parks in the Summer!
Special congratulations to you for attending the rally!
Saw your comment on JVANAM's page---enjoy DC----I had a fellow Sparkler from Vancouver, CAnada, visit me last summer and I took her up there to see the sites. And acted as tour guide for some other strangers while there. It is a great place to visit but do not expect to see all of it ---too much to see----even I have not been to some of the places and been a long time for other places there. Have a wonderful time---and wear your walking shoes for sure. 2164 days ago
