now that the hard part is over...

Hey there! Since I joined Spark in the Summer of 2007 I've managed to get back down to my high school weight and then some! I reached my goal weight around December 2008, with a total of about 25 lbs lost. However, even though my scale says that I've reached my goal, I don't really feel as though I am finished on my journey. Hey there! Since I joined Spark in the Summer of 2007 I've managed to get back down to my high school weight and then some! I reached my goal weight around December 2008, with a total of about 25 lbs lost. However, even though my scale says that I've reached my goal, I don't really feel as though I am finished on my journey. The weight I've lost has been mostly due to portion control and trying to pay attention to what my body needs rather than what I want. I have always been the type of person that loves to eat, so trying to see food as a nutrient to keep my body going has been difficult. And though the pounds have shed, I still feel as though I have a lot of fat on my body that is just unnecessary. My struggle now is to implement a workout routine that I can enjoy but will also tone my body and replace some of that fat with muscle. I'm not sure how long it will take before I enjoy working out, but I'm really going to try!

The rest of my goals are pretty qualitative:
Lose the arm and belly fat,
work those gluts, etc.

My Program:
Go to the gym at least 3 days a week. Tuesdays and Thursdays definitely, and at least one other day.
-at least 30 mins of interval cardio training
-go with a buddy!


Free-weight arm workouts at night

Crunches and other ab workouts at night

do you realize that spark is like the greatest thing to happen to us? we've lost 50lbs because of it!! that is SO much.

0.7 to go!!!!!!!!!!! you are slowly getting there through a series of steps forward and steps back - but thats totally normal and you will get there soon!!

im so proud of you!!

(I also can't wait to go hiking this summer!!)
