Welcome to my page! My name is Sarah and I've been back and forth with Spark for a few years now. I'm back and hoping to start fresh.

Welcome to my page! My name is Sarah and I've been back and forth with Spark for a few years now. I'm back and hoping to start fresh.

I spent the large majority of my life participating in life very actively. I played every sport I could get my hands on and was also in the military. Despite being active, I always had poor eating and drinking habits. Staying active (and young) prevented me from seeing the negative affects of my poor diet. Over the last few years I've spent more time on tne couch than on the trails and I've drank more pop than water. The short of it is that I've let myself go and I'm trying to get myself back.

I've been married for almost four years and my husband and I have been trying to conceive for a year now. I've gained at least 15 pounds over this last year...some stress, some pure laziness. I was diagnosed with hypothyroid in October, though I've been told that after testing, it's not the cause of my fertility issues.

I know I need to begin taking care of myself and making myself and my health my number one priority. I plan on doing this with continued acupuncture for fertility, taking my herbs, sticking to my fertility diet (at least 80% of the time!) and working out at moderate to high intensity at least 4 days a week.

7. More planned meals.
8. Follow my fertility diet 80% of the time.
9. Chart dailly temps.
10. Exercise 4-5 days/week.
11. Lift weights.
12. Intense cardio.
13. 8 hours of sleep
14. Document progress.
15. Stay positive!!!!

Personal Information:
My name is Sarah and I'm originally from Chicago. I live just outside the city with my wonderful husband of three years and our goofy dog. I work as a teacher of the visually impaired and an early intervention specialist for babies with visual impairments.

TTC for one year.

Other Information:
I love "putzing" around. I enjoy spending time with my hubby, dog, family and friends. I enjoy reading, crafting, planning, watching the news and lots of other mindless tv, working in my garden, decorating and organizing my house and meeting new friends!

How are you liking Body Revolution?
I am currently in the last phase but don't feel like I'm ready to be there. I haven't been eating as healthy as I should and not seeing the results I was seeing in Phase 1. I just don't think I've gained as much strength yet as I need to carry out the last phase successfully, so I'm going to backtrack a bit, redo some workouts and work back up to the last phase.
I hope things are going well for you!

I am always looking for friends on this journey so I'd love to have you along for the ride! I actually did Phase 1 of Body Revolution last month and kind of wished I'd taken before & after pics so I could see if there was a different. I don't know if I looked different but I felt different. I felt stronger and a little stronger & tighter. I didn't have access to it for awhile, but just started Phase 2 today and am soooo happy to be starting again. Jillian Michael's is intense but she knows what she is doing. It isn't anything you can't push through and the feeling of accomplishment is overwhelming.

I am not currently on any fertility diet although I do constantly think maybe I should do some more research on this. I am just trying to eat healthy and cut back on alcohol. I also decided just yesterday that I'm going to cut back on my caffeine intake, too. I don't go super crazy with it anyway, but after all this time, I'm ready to try almost anything!
