Doing it for me!

I'm 31 and live in Bremerton, Washington. In June 2003 i weighed in at 290 pounds. In 1999 i was only 123 pounds. I have been on the road to lose well over one hundred pounds. As of today i am 205 pounds and trying my best at losing at least 65 pounds. I am doing it for myself finally so i can feel better and to do more with my friends and to feel healthier.

In reality it was from bad eating habits and lack of motivation to continue my exercise plans. This time I'm really trying my best of get back into the habit of making smarter decisions about food, exercise and my life.

My Goals:
My small goals are to lose 0.5-1 pound per week. I would love to see my scale reach 180 something by the end of February 2012.

My Program:
I have changed my eating habits and now eat mostly organics and a ton of protein and fiber. I am decreasing my caloric intake down to 1500 per day. I also plan on doing more walking around town in order to burn up some calories. I'm going to try the no hard exercise route this time and see if it will work.

Born in Merced and raised in San Diego, California.

Other Information:
I like to meet new people and i love anything that has to do with the outdoors. I'm gearing up for winter. I'm mostly just walking and trying to do some lite jogging.

Your site is inspiring. I am almost in the same boat as you. In 1999 I was 143 as well. Now I am about 200 and pushing. My brother was Coast Guard too. My husband and I were both Seabees in the Navy when we met back in 2000. So, what is your advice? I live in an area known for rock climbing, hiking, camping, biking, skiing, etc. Somehow I just have not been motivated to get out there! What is your motivation?? :)
