MarryEllen it was nice to hear from you. Thank you for your kind comments. I am so sorry to hear about the problems you are having.. It is atrocious some times the care that is given in the hospitals. I have been pretty lucky with my Dr.s lately. They really do try to take care of me the best they can. I go through the Veterans Administration as I am a disabled Vet. As you know I have dealt with this for over 30 years and I am confident my problems will be dealt with properly.
I do hope you are feeling better and find a Dr. or treatment you are happy with and will give you the care you deserve.
taake care and God Bless.

Boy I truely understand what you are saying about doctors. I have worked in the medical field for 30 yrs. & it's scary what's behind the scenes.
It took 7 yrs. for doctors to take me seriously enough. I was told everything from it must be menopause, stress, depression, Lymes disease, etc. I finally went to a Rheumatologist who did the right blood work, and as you, he walked in said you have Lupus & that was it.But I was so relieved to finally know that it wasn't all in my head!
That is why I started writing on this sparkpage, I have so much to learn about this Lupus stuff, & need to find a treatment that might actually HELP, not just add more symptoms & more weight.
So we will trudge on, keep the faith, & I realize everyday in my job, that I am so blessed compared to so many others.
Enjoy your weekend, feel better. Maryellen

Hi MerryEllen, Thanks for responding to my blog. You are right things are looking up. Got over the sinus infection and bladder infection, feeling better. The Lupus diagnosis I just got this week, and frankly, I am amazed at what else they can throw at me. In one way I am glad to know what has been causing all these problems, but in another, I simply dont' want another chronic disease to deal with. It almost gets laughable every time I come home from the doctor and tell my husband what they have said. Makes you just not want to go to the doctor. I mean this guy just said I think you have lupus, we'll do some more testing and then walked out the door. But, anyway, thanks for writing me, Susan, (Vega 71)
