Hi! My name is Miranda. I'm from a rural area in Texas just south of Abilene. I grew up in the country, so I'm absolutely in love with nature! That's one of my motivations to lose weight. I love outdoor activities, but I'm so out of shape that I tire out easily. I've been overweight most of my life. Obesity runs in my family as well as thyroid problems, so I'm battling genetics.
I have a degree in Biology and am currently back in school working on a Nursing degree, so I know fairly in-depth how all this works! That doesn't make it any easier, though. Most days I feel like I'm all information and very little action. I KNOW what I need to do, the problem is doing it.
