I'm a 34yr old, mother to two boys. I've been fighting with my weight since I was in my early teens and have finally gotten sick of not being able to do what I want because my body can't take it.

I had been wary of starting any real weight loss endeavor due to the fact that the two previous times I lost any significant amount of weight, I ended up pregnant. It has taken a lot of convincing myself that it won't happen again.

Weight Loss Milestones:
12-11-2010 - Fit into a size 18 jeans for the first time in my adult life. WHOOHOO!
1/27/2011 - Hit 210 lbs!
2/11/2011 - Fit into a size 16 jeans! Holy cow what an incredible feeling that was.
2/26/2011: Ran my first sustained mile. YAY!
4/18/11: 199 lbs. ONE-DERLAND BABY!! YEAH!!
5/10/11: 198lbs, SIZE 14/Large HELL YEA!
6/3/2012: 195 lbs, Rode the 50k in the Kennebunk Tour de Cure for Diabetes.
Present: Struggling to regain that momentum and carry myself the rest of the way to my 155lb goal weight.

Watching my calorie and type of calorie intake.

Excerising at least 3 times a week.

I paint, draw and am a freelance artist.
I love dragons and gryphons.
I am a draconic otherkin.
I sew plushes, sooooo many plushes.
I have a husband and a boyfriend whom I love deeply. I talk about them a lot in my blogs.

Hi MERIH, I am Pat in Augusta. I love to walk the rail trail. I know you have trails in Waterville but I have never walked there.

Hey Merih! I did a search to find more local active Sparkers and came across your page. I hope you don't mind that I added you as a friend.
How have things been going the past month with your husband in school? Is it still tough? We spent the past two years renovating our house (due to a lead issue), and I can definitely understand the feeling of having a short temper due to stress!

Hey, trying this program out to see if I can get motivated. I hear you and Amy are starting a walking schedule -- though, if you're doing it in the morning there may be an issue (I leave for work at 7am.) We'll have to talk about it.

You and I sooooo need to talk/ hang out more often. LOL
