Back on track

March 18 2009
So I went off track the last couple of months - skipping workouts, eating junk and putting on weight (about 5 pounds). I've realized that is NOT the direction I want to be going so I've come back home to Spark to get me back on track. My current goal is to lose 10% of my current weight, which is about 16 pounds. Once I hit that, I'll set a new goal but slow and steady with achievable goals is still my mantra - yea me!

July 2008
So I've been on spark for 7 months now and the progress has been slow but steady. I'm down 11 pounds and still working.

Hit a bump about 3 weeks ago when I broke my elbow and wrist and am restricted from working out. So, with the help of friends and fellow sparkers, I've modified my plan, focusing more on calories and walking whenever and where ever possible.

Slow and steady wins the race is my new motto!




January 1, 2008
I've always been overweight and this year, I'm done complaining and ready to make a serious lifestyle change! My goal is to lose 43 pounds and improve my overall health in 2008.

I spent last year working out so I'm in ok shape but can't seem to shake the weight so I'm hoping that this year is my year.

Hope you have a great day and a wonderful week!!! emoticon We can reverse years of damage to our bodies by deciding to raise our standards for ourselves, then living differently. Old wounds heal, injuries repair, and the whole system improves with just a few changes in what we put into our bodies and how we move them. emoticon
