Well, it is time for me to come back. I sure did need the rest, plus I am enjoying the fruits for all my hard work exercising. My PT is now at the advanced post op level, I am now walking with a cane, I walk up and down my stairs 2-3 times per day. And I feel all those muscles in my hip and leg!!!
This Tuesday I go for my first post op appointment--I get my staples out!! I am so ready.
Being in the hospital did not feel like a vacation and the food was awful, however, it sure was a catalyst to get me to work harder at cutting my stay shorter. So glad to be home!!! 1948 days ago

Hello my beautiful friend: I am enjoying today. For the first time in months I slept in. Yesterday my family and I went to Mass.
Today I am starting to pack for my hospital/extended care stay. My total hip replacement surgery is only 8 days away. My daughter spent two full hours crying and begging me not to stay so far away from her. It truly pulled at my heart.
I know I am going to work extra hard at PT so I can come home sooner. And I am looking forward to having time for more prayer and mediation, as well as meeting new people and learning more about me!
Enjoy this day and all the beauty that is yours to embrace.
