Living a healthier lifestyle

Hi! My name is Robin. I am in 36 years old and have that extra padding around my middle that I am trying to lose. I like to work out but have poor self discipline. I can usually gain weight, lose it, then end up gaining again. This time I will make smart choices.
I'm back in school, have settled down, and am overhauling my diet. I am also trying to get into a routine of consistent exercising.

My Goals:
I want to live a healthier lifestyle so I can be around to watch my two little nephews grow up.
When I lose my muffin top, I am going to buy myself a dress from ModCloth.com as a reward.

My Program:
I am eating lean meats, low fat cheeses and dairy products, and watching my portion sizes. I love carbs, so I'm trying to eat carbs that will help, rather than hinder me. I workout at home with exercise DVDs and go to the gym
3-4 days a week. I am also getting back into running (hurt my knee some years ago).

I currently live in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Jog 5 hrs/week to burn 2,000 calories

Hi!

Thanks for stopping by my Page. Sorry you didn't make it to the Flying Pig this year. I walked the Half, and had a great time with lots of Spark friends.

I'm glad you mentioned the Zoo's event. I wanted to go last year and missed it; maybe it will work out this year. I have not been to it. But, if you've been to the zoo, you know there are lots of hills so that will keep things interesting....not to mention having the great scenery along the route. :)
