Slowly but Surely

Sept 15/09 -- Hi again, there are many things that I have changed since joining the Spark! I was religious about counting cals and exercise but dropped of the face of the earth -- now I am back -- I think I will start tracking some things again.

I am very active lately -- 1st Mon&Wed -- booty camp for an hr -- 2nd Mon night co-ed Volleyball -- 3rd 3 times a week GoodLife fitness (some weights and cardio) -- 4th college part time classes (3 in total) -- 5th I still have to work ...

I have made up a great schedule for myself and I am positive I will follow through -- My goal 5 months ago was to get to 120 by Oct 23rd (which is my 27th birthday) -- I don't think that will happen now but I can definitely aim for December to be down to that weight!!! I want to look good at my work's Christmas party as well -- but that's not the real reason -- I want to prove to myself that I CAN DO IT!

I have the magazines, I have great shoes, I have the knowledge, I might not have the support from my family because I will have to spend time away from home -- BUT WHO CARES? this is my life and I need to do something about it.

My parents had a horrific car accident in June 2008. It took a lot of physical and mental power to get through the whole journey and try to help them as best as we all could. I've seen 3full weeks of a hospital inside and I think I've had enough for a loooooooong time -- I neglected myself even though I KNOW that if you do not take care of yourself you will not be able to take care of others. I have put my foot down and posted a FULL schedule in my kitchen so whoever is interested to know what I am doing they can check it and not bother me! Until December it's ALL ABOUT ME!


Hi... I love food and can't control my portions... :( so now i'm overweight and want to shed a few pounds (they say ideal would be 30 but i say 50)... so let's see how far this journey goes!!! :) -- Realistic at this point would be to go down to 120 -- but maybe at some point to 100 :)

My Goals:
I want to tone my body and look BETTER then my cousin... I think it's a pretty good motivator :)

My Program:
my program has changed a little

walking, walking, walking
-- if I have anything to do around the house I try to engage my whole body in doing it -- if I am carrying anything around I try to work my arms while at it -- I am walking after work for 20 mins (approx 2 km) -- I have joined Curves and am going for my exercise every day (so far) -- and I am drinkin at least 8 glasses of water eveeerrrryyyyyy dayyyyyyy!!!

Personal Information:
I live in a little tiny town in Ontario -- and work in Kitchener -- considering I do spend 2 hours in the car every day my muscles have turn into something that doesn't look musclee anymore :(

Glad I could bring a smile to your stressful day and I should say don't eat when you read my blogs. Someone said their beverage came out of their nose on the one about the virtual models and burned her nostril! Nice to know I have that effect on people! (?) LOL Good luck on your journey!
