Ready to be!

I CAN do this! I don't understand why it has to be such a rollercoaster, but I CAN do this! Jeff and I are getting back on the wagon and will maintain our health and happiness during the ups and the downs.

My Goals:
I have realized that right now I don't have an 'ideal' weight. I want to lose 24 lbs. (to get to 200) then set another goal for myself. (DONE - 3/29/09)
Jeff and I have gotten married and we are starting our gym membership today. My goals are to:
- Track my food daily
- Work out 5x per week
- Maintain a healthy lifestyle
- See 170 by July 30

My Program:
Right now it's just to get active and stay active!

Group classes: 2x/week
Cardio: 2x/week
Strength Training: 2-3x/week

I eat with in 1200-1500 calories most days, but do have 'splurge' days where I just don't care. I have found that this is the only way for me to stick with it and stay successful.

Personal Information:
I have PCOS and have lost weight before, but now I'm really struggling. I would love to meet other women who have the same struggles and are willing to share their successes.

Other Information:
Jeff and I just got married and we moved across the country from Wisconsin to Montana. We are looking forward to suprising our families by coming home healthier and happy!

Hi... I responded to the what are you proud of today right after you did and I had to see who else had the joy of shoveling snow!

Hello... I too have PCOS and so understand how it sucks! I swear I keep losing the same weight over and over again, but I never get back to my heaviest so it's progress ever so slowly.

Congrats on what you've done so far. I know you can do it!

Well, I hope slow and steady wins the race... What about just standing still? Hee hee, just kidding.
Glad to hear you made it through the cravings okay... those days are the worst!
I am having a rough time right now as I have a kidney infection (or so my Dr thinks!) that is hurting really bad and making me want to just curl up into a ball and go to sleep!
I had to make cookies last night for a Christmas baking thing at work, but I was very good and only tried one little one.
Talk to you soon!

Thanks for the message, I appreciate the welcome!

I'd love to be 170 by the time my wedding comes along, but I think that might be a bit (a lot!) of a stretch... In fact, I thought I was at around 200 and only realised it was closer to 230 when I went to the doctor! Talk about a shock... makes those goals seem so much harder... Then again, it also seems like hopefully that means I have nowhere to go but.. well, down! :-)

I could definitely use some support, especially in the beginning, so I appreciate it!

Thanks again!
