I'm a mother of 3 step mom of 3 and a grammy of 2, I'll be 38 in March and I alway's ate what I wanted to now I am gaining the weight and have trouble with eating right and keeping the portions small, so I am looking for motivation before it get's to far out of control. I'm about 5'3" and I weight 147 would love to be back around 120.

My Goals:

I like to dance (my husband doesn't) we snowmobile and 4 wheel when we have the time, we try to be at the kids events as often as we can and we both work full time.

Hi I'm at 141 lbs right now. drinking 8 glasses of water a day and doing pretty well with portion control. need to eat more veggies and fruit and to cut the late night ice cream (at least cut it down) I want to get to 120lbs and stay there but I want to lose the saggy stuff I'm getting I will be going though a couple of preventive surgeries (I have a high risk for breast cancer and ovarian cancer) I take my vitamins regularly and clean house an Avg. of 4 day's per week avg of 2 per day.

Welcome to SparkMaine, Mel! I hope your sister is doing well, and it is good that you're taking steps to stay healthy. Wish I could be your exercise buddy, but I live in Portland. We on the team can be online buddies for you! Looking forward to getting to know you. My sister cleaned houses for a living for a long time and still takes some cleaning jobs, so I know how hard it is to do that for a living! It IS exercise, though!

Just thought I would touch base again. Still been eating better and drinking plenty of water. I could use more exercise but I clean houses and it's been really busy and I am exausted so maybe I am getting enough. (right now anyway) I have been holding at 129 for a while now but I STILL feel great for losing the 18lbs and eating better does make me feel better. Getting a pool (a small one) this week hope that will help with the exercising. Going to FL. June 30 to see my sister (she has breast cancer) I can't wait, I have missed her very much.. emoticon

Hi there- Are you taking a break or are you just busy like the rest of us? I hope things are going well. How's you sister? My friend had her mastectomy two weeks ago. I haven't heard from her so I hope she is feeling ok.

Just checking in to see how your doing. I can definitely relate to how stress can affect you. But you're right to remember you have to take care of yourself if you want to have the strenth to help others. Hang in and keep the faith!
