Finding Joy and Peace

Having three kids in four years has taken a toll on my body and I am ready to lose half my size in one year, going from a size 16 to a size 8. I need to stop blaming my children for my weight and eating habits and start showing them what it means to be healthy and happy with their bodies. I love being a mom and hope to be able to add to our family. Through my weight loss journey I want to learn how to embrace all that God has given me and be able to encourage others along the way.

Hello! I saw that you commented on one of my photos a little while back. Did you try to make the visual of yourself too? I thought it was a great idea to show my "thinner" self behind a wall of all the pounds I need to lose. As each pound is lost, I remove a block. When I reach my goal, my "thinner" self will be free from the wall of weight that I have been hiding behind. emoticon
