My weight loss journey

I want to eat healthier, I do not want to develop diabetes when I am older, and I know that I am prone to this. I am currently OBESE, only by a few pounds, but I don't even want to be overweight.To be of normal weight I would have to weigh 150 or less 145 would make me smile :) So here's to becoming the me I want to be.

As of 6/30/13 I am back up to 192 and and would love to even be 175

My Goals:
I would just simply like to be healthy. I would like to be stronger, I would like to learn how to resist temptation, I have a habit of a few great diet days followed by a few bad days, It is like I give in to my cravings then I give up till the next week, destroying all the work I have done.

Ready, Set, GOAL.

My Program:
I will try better to reach my dietary goal (ex. calorie intake, protein, fat, and carbohydrate consumption)

I will drink 8 glasses of water a day!

I will workout for 30 minutes a day (at least)
*I realize sometimes I may need a break.

I will start weighing myself only 2 days a week, If I weigh myself only once a week, and I see no change, I get discouraged. Right now I have been weighing myself daily and one day it is up one pound, and some days it's down a pound. One day the scale said I gained 3.7pounds in one day (not possible)

I will eat as many fruits and vegetables as I can, I am aiming for 3 minimum, but here lately I have been eating 5 servings a day

Personal Information:
I am 34years. I have a eight year old little girl. My daughter helps to motivate me, right now she has been doing squats with me every evening. I recently RAN 1mile on the treadmill, I have never done that before, the most I have ever ran was 5 minutes straight (and I about fell over) My mile took over 12 minutes, but I am very proud of that (It proves that I am getting stronger).


Other Information:
I hate yo-yo-ing, I have been between 160-200 for the last 10 years, I would love to be a healthy weight (135-150).

I am ready to make a lifestyle change!
