A married mom to 3 young boys, who in the past has chosen to deal with stress, anger, sadness, deprivation by eating foods that temporarily make me feel like I'm "treating" myself.

After 2 years of emotional upheaval I want find some inner peace, strength, and self discipline. This I believe will help me in all aspects of my life, not just getting back a healthy me who can fit in my old jeans. I haven't felt genuine in a long time. I know I haven't been my best and in spite of this I get so much love from my boys. I feel that I'm cheating them and myself.

I know that there is a happier, "lighter", me inside. I just need to dig through some layers to find her. That is the path I'm on, starting today.

Fitness Minutes: 40

My Goals:
3 healthy small meals and 2 small snacks.

To seriously reduce the amount of sweets I eat.

4 cardio and 2 strength workouts a week. Go to the gym even if I only have a half hour to exercise.

Restart my yoga practice.

Drink water, water, water...and some green tea.

Substitute my nighttime snack with a nighttime herb tea or hot chocolate.

My Program:
Eating 1200-1500 cals of high fiber, high protein, low fat foods.

Drinking water first thing in the am, with meals, and while exercising.

Exercising at the gym several times a week.

Personal Information:
I'm a 40 something married mom with 3 wonderful, smart, energetic young boys.

Other Information:
I love to immerse myself in a good book and music. Not easy to do in a house of rowdy boys!
