Recent Update:

9/24 Moved back to NH. Boyfriend moves back to Brooklyn.
11/20 Boyfriend of 16 months broke it off.
Sad at first, (instead of stuffing my face, my reaction was to go for a run. Progress!) What a boob. I shall be known as "the one that got away." ;-)

Going to the gym. Eating better/well. Working, and doing my best to enjoy it. Doing happy spa treatments and treating myself right. Getting my hair did. Being social. Learning to love myself more, being truly happy, accepting myself. Going to be REALLY bathing-suit ready this summer.
Learning I really do like running. Getting stronger everyday. Upping my sex appeal with my appearance and attitude. Living a [newly] single life.

"Laugh as much as you breathe and love as long as you live."

Found this from my inspiration Valeriemaha:

Live in rooms full of light
Avoid heavy food
Be moderate in the drinking of wine
Take massage, baths, exercise, and gymnastics
Fight insomnia with gentle rocking or the sound of running water
Change surroundings and take long journeys
Strictly avoid frightening ideas
Indulge in cheerful conversation and amusements
Listen to music.

It's the last day of July ...a good time to reflect upon your goals for August! Things to consider may be...

How many fitness minutes do you want to try to achieve?
How many pounds would you reasonably like to lose?
What new activities would you like to try?
What has been working for you that you would like to continue?
What hasn't been working and should be changed?

Not everyone likes to set goals, but it is a valuable tool to use on this journey. Goals help to provide focus and a vision for what we want to accomplish. Even if we fail to meet our goals, the experience provides valuable feedback --- What went wrong? What behavior do we need to change to attain what we set out to do?

Take a few minutes ... challenge yourself with some goals for August!

... Looking forward to success in August! Keep on keepin' on!!

Happy Monday!! Another month is drawing to a close... I hope you are seeing progress on your journey...

Don't forget that the scale doesn't always tell the whole story. Have you measured yourself lately???

You may just be amazed at what you discover!
