Taking it day by day

I have always loved healthy food, but have always eaten WAY too much of it. I prefer whole wheat bread over white, I like greek salads with lots of feta and olives etc. but my problem is alway portion size. I have a goal weight of 130lbs by July 1, but my focus really is getting through each day tracking EVERYTHING I eat, and exercising each day.

I have a goal weight of 130lbs by July 1, but my focus really is getting through each day tracking EVERYTHING I eat, and exercising each day.
I like to run, but am not very consistent with it. But I have signed up for a 50km ultra trail run in September, so in order to have a chance of finishing that, I must be very consistent with my running. My goal is to run 3 to 4 times per week, with a minimum of one of those runs being mostly hills. I also bike on a trainer twice per week.
I don't do much for weights, so I think I might join one of the challenges and do the 10 minute videos. I have P90X videos which I actually like but have trouble moving any part of my body for 2 days after I do one of those...maybe I'll save those for the summer when my fitness level should be higher:)

140lbs - a new pair of jeans
135lbs - either...a new pair of runners, CEP compression socks or sleeves, running gear, etc
130lbs - weekend in waterton and shopping at that store I like for clothes

Thank you for your sweet comment on my page! It's VERY hard for me to be positive because I've been a pessimistic person my whole life, but I've been working on changing that throughout my weight loss journey.

Thank you so much for your inspiring comment on my blog. It's SO hard to get to where we feel comfortable and like we belong when we feel so....awkward? Not sure that's the best word to use, but that's how it feels sometimes. I really do feel so much better now that I have realized that I belong just like everyone else...no matter if I'm a turtle or not!

wOW a 50K ultra that is an ambitious goal stick to your plan and you can do it thanks for stopping by my page. I really enjoy trail running it's a nice change from the road. But now I am hitting the pavement to prep for a marathon in Oct I guess we both are jumping in whole hearted. I like having big goals good Luck enjoy the journey
