Getting healthy

I am currently overweight and tired all the time. I am working to eat better and exercise for better health. I want to live a full, healthy, happy life.
I am working against a strong current in my family gene pool: diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and lots of other undesirable (but preventable) things. I want to live a LONG, healthy life free of these chains :)

My Goals:
I would like to get back down to a healthy weight of 165lbs. I have set a personal goal of exercising 5 days per week.
Ultimately, I want to feel better about myself. I also want to be healthy - I don't want my weight to keep me from doing the things I love.

My Program:
I am using a variety of "Walking Away the Pounds" videos to get my cardio and using the strength training on sparkpeople.
I am packing my lunch every day and avoiding eating out
I am also not keeping soda in the house to increase my water intake. Keeping lots of healthy snacks on hand and tracking my food online.

Personal Information:
I am single and live alone. I actually enjoy my space - it can make dieting much easier because I don't have to worry about others. But it can also make it more difficult because there is no one to keep me accountable. That is where sparkpeople comes in - everyone on these boards is my accountability partner :)
