MelbiWanKenobi has gone over to the darkside!

Yes it's true.... it's turning into winter before my very eyes! And with it I know what happens.... I turn into the equivilent of a hibernating bear... I load up on rich and fatty foods as if I'm not going to eat again til the spring. But that's the problem.... I don't stop eating! Last year I managed to lose over 30 lbs and I felt amazing! I don't want to gain it all back just because of the temptations around me (I say as I dig into a cheese filled sausage!)

Exercise at least 2 times a week... Eat several small meals/snacks through out the day and evening.... no pop.... more water.... trying new recipes from the Hungry Girl cookbook.... and now on a salicylate free diet.

Yikes! I saw your status update and I went and read up a little on the diet! It will feel overwhelming thinking of what you can't eat or drink and learning a whole new way of eating, but focus on what you CAN have! I found a nice blog of someone who has this same allergy/intolerance. She has a great list of things you can have. Hang in there! Once it's a habit in your life it will get much easier!
