My Goals:
1. To lose weight once and for all.

2. To improve my health through diet and exercise.

3. To gain control of my life again and feel good about myself.




My Program:
1. Keep my calories between 1200-1550.

2. Eat only clean, healthy organic vegan food. Keep the processed and unhealthy foods to a min.

3. Start to exercise again. Work up to 5 days a week. Lift weights 2-3 of those days.



Personal Information:
I live in Southeast Pennsylvania, but Las Vegas is my "home".

One of the best things I ever did for me, was completing two 1/2 marathons in 2005. One was at Walt Disney world and I have the coolest Donald Medal from that race. The other was in Ocean City Marathon and the race ended on Assateague Island where the pony's are.

Other Information:

My happy place is when I'm with my family at Walt Disney World - probably one of my favorite places.

Thanks so much Melaniec! I really appreciate everything you said and I love The Kind Diet...I love the macrobiotic side and everything about it...It's what I have been looking for, for years and now that I finally have found it, I hate to give it up. I am a holisitic nutritionist by profession (not practicing at moment) and so I am passionate about food and health...so giving in while living home is HARD. I am in the process of moving out..I haven't lived home in many years so it's an adjustment for all...and I know they are just trying to be nice..but it's hurting me...and they cannot see that.

I would love to have your support! I don't know anyone else even in my province I live in that is trying to eat this way...so talking about it and being motivated is hard when everyone thinks you're nuts! I KNOW it's the right way....but the support is just not there..I never though support would be so important. So YES, I will take any you can give and I, in turn, can answer supplement questions and food questions (I'm smart about nutrition, just not at practicing what I preach..lol) emoticon
