Making positive changes in my life one day at a time

I have been overweight since my early teenager years. Like a lot of people, I have tried over and over again to lose weight, this time, I finally found the motivation to keep going and I will never give up!

As of May 1 2013, I have lost 79.6 pounds. I have hit a few bumps on the road, but always found my way back, got back on track and kept making positive changes in my life. I not only have lost weight, I have become a more positive person with more self esteem, my anxiety ...

As of May 1 2013, I have lost 79.6 pounds. I have hit a few bumps on the road, but always found my way back, got back on track and kept making positive changes in my life. I not only have lost weight, I have become a more positive person with more self esteem, my anxiety has improved, my blood pressure is lower, and im learning to love myself. I also have more energy, I feel better, and I dont get sick as often. I love the person, Im becoming!

I was on medical restrictions of little to no exercises from April 2012 to March 2013. I had a full hysterectomy on Jan 9 2013 and am building up my exercise intensity every day! I will get back to where I was before all these medical problems I went through...its just going to take patience and persistence. One work out at a time I will get back to where I want to be!

I never thought I would make it this far...I never thought I could make the changes to become a healthier better person. And its all because of Spark people and all the great people I met. I hope I can enourage others along the way to make them see that they can do it. Even if you have exercise restrictions for whatever reason, you can still lose weight by making good choices!


I am now completely off exercise restrictions, im still building up my strength and what I can do! Im also now completely off blood pressure meds and my blood work came back basically perfect! This change is lifestyle has changed my life in so many ways!

I want to lose 115 pounds. When I started SP, I weighed in at 255 pounds. My ultimate goal is to weigh 140 pounds.

Im going to concentrate on losing a little bit of weight at a time,
