I am a thirty something wife and mother of 2 just trying to get myself back into some sort of shape. I gained about 45 pounds a few years ago and after lots of tests and blood work they found out that I have an under active thyroid. My Goals:
I want to be a healthier person and lose about 40 pounds or so.

My Program:
I keep a close eye on calories but never deprive myself of having something I really want. If I eat something, I write it down and enter the information into SparkPeople at the end of the day to see how I have done. If I have gone over I make sure I do not beat myself up about it. Also, I allow myself one day a week, usually Sunday, where I allow myself extra stuff. This is my treat day for doing well all week. This does not mean that I pig out!

Personal Information:
I am a wife of 17 years and a mother of 2 teens. I work full time as an office manager at a home improvement company. I am a co-leader for my daughters Girl Scout Troop.

Hope you are having a great Tuesday! I know you are a GS leader and I was wondering if you were going to the Investing in Futures breakfast tomm. at the Olmsted?? Good morning! I'm back on the threads! Today I am recommitting to my weight loss through the holidays. This is going to take so much diligence! But I know I can do it. The back is better, I'm up to walking an hour a day again, and those sweets just aren't as good as they look.

I hope you have a great week! Stay out of all that leftover Halloween candy! It is for the best.... :-0
