My 29th year will be the best one yet.

I previously lost weight with CalorieCount.com in 2009. Since then, I've been struggling with many life events, stressed, a short-term thinker to get me through those times, and as a result I've put on 25 pounds in the last few years.

I'm starting to realize that short-term, "just get through the day" thinking isn't creating who I want to be day-to-day. The things we do every day amount to more than the things we do every once in a while, despite our best wishes or intentions. This behavior change represents how I want to live the rest of my life. I just moved, turned 29, and am settling into my career. If I don't change personal habits now, I won't be the "me" that I deserve.
Oh, I write behavior analyses for a living, so it's time I start practicing what I am preaching.

My Goals:
- track calories 6 days/week
- lose 30 pounds by the end of the year
- find an exercise routine that is intrinsically motivating
- cook more, eat out less
-not let others' habits negatively affect my own

My Program:
- 1200-1550 calories/day, 6 days/week
- will begin hooping just as soon as the UPS guy delivers it!
