Creating New Habits

I am currently at my heaviest weight ever, and my physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health are suffering because of that.

I am in the process of rebooting my lifestyle. I recently left a high-stress job. I am reconnecting with my family and core values. And I am gradually creating new habits that I hope will produce positive changes.

My Goals:
My long-term goals are to lose 60 pounds over the course of a year and to reduce the amount of medication I take daily.

My short-term goals are to lose enough weight to take some pressure off the herniated disc in my back and to feel better in my clothes.

My Program:
- Exercise for at least 20 minutes each day, doing some combination of walking, strength training, and yoga
- Meditate for 10 minutes every morning
- Drink plenty of water and eat a largely Mediterranean diet

Personal Information:
I am originally from Springfield, Massachusets, but I now live in the Santa Cruz Mountains of Northern California.

everyone falls down from time to time .... what's important is not laying there in a heap but rather, getting back up and moving forward the best you can

don't beat yourself up .... just realize you're human and then create small successes, one after the other.
