My Mission To Become A MILF

I was on Spark People for about two years and had some really good success. I lost 20 pounds in a matter of 3 months. After my goal deadline came and went I kept up with my food tracking and exercise for a while but it slowly tapered off. I ended up gaining back most of what I lost and then in February of 2010 I became pregnant with my first baby. She was born on December 3, 2010 weighing 9 pounds 6 ounces and was 22.5 inches long. I actually did pretty well with my weight gain while pregnant considering that I wasn’t able to exercise throughout (and I had a 9.5 pound baby in there!!). I gained just under 40 pounds (I stopped looking at the scale at the end because it was kind of hard to accept that number was OK for a pregnant woman) and I’m just a few pounds over my starting weight 2 months post partum.

Well, I’m back on Spark and hope to finally reach my goal weight of 140. I set my goal date for August 13 because that’s when I am going on a family vacation to the beach and I would REALLY like to be able to wear a bathing suit and not HATE what I look like in it.

I’m actually not going to do any serious cardio because I’m breastfeeding and that burns about 500 calories a day. On nice days I’ll take the baby for a walk and I’ll also be doing a little bit of weight lifting to try and do some toning.

So, this is my plan to become a MILF by this summer!!!
