Baby weight and then some...

I am a SparkPeople veteran... I lost around 30 pounds back in 2005, and have since essentially maintained (back up about 10 pounds and stayed there.) In October 2012, I had my first baby girl, and lost nearly all of that weight in about 6 months (definitely via breastfeeding, as my eating habits slid). I'm about to wean and ready to re-learn my healthy eating habits, get back to my original lower weight, and find time in my busy schedule to work out without sacrificing time with my little ...

This is a great time of year for me to change habits as I work for a school as a speech-language pathologist and am heading back to work. I have the added incentive of trying to hit my goal weight by my 30th birthday on Thanksgiving!

My Goals:
1 - goal weight by my 30th birthday

2 - Do 10 real push-ups

3 - eat/cook/buy healthy foods

4 - go rockclimbing

5 - train for and run a 5k


My Program:
1 - Eat smaller lunches with less snacking

2 - Drink less alcohol - the calories just add up!

3 - Eat smaller portions at dinner.

4 - Try to keep healthy fresh foods in the house!

5 - log on spark

6 - go to gym at least as often as I am able



Personal Information:
Lost the baby weight but aiming for a few extra to hit a milestone by my big 30th birthday!

I am actually in Atlantic Canada, so normally it would not be pool weather here either. However, we are having a heat wave so the temperature has been 40C all week with the humidity. Tomorrow it's supposed to cool down to 37C. Lol! I foresee swimming again in my near future.
