I am still successful, as long as I get up one more time than I fall!
2012 was successful for me, though not necessarily on the scale. I discovered my health issue and managed to lose about 15 pounds this summer, but I managed to gain it back from Thanksgiving to Christmas...go figure...my DH started running in July and has managed to lose about 45 pounds. He is now my motivation to become healthier. With that said, the two of us have already put several things in motion for 2013... He bought me an in-home spinning bike, since we live in a rural area ...

He is now my motivation to become healthier. With that said, the two of us have already put several things in motion for 2013... He bought me an in-home spinning bike, since we live in a rural area without a class available. Santa also brought the family an XBox Kinect with My Fitness Revolution. Don't knock it until you try it...I did it for 30 minutes today and am still sweating from the boot camp and wall breaker games. We also share time on the treadmill. I LOVE the bike, and the treadmill is great until the streets become clear from snow and ice. We also signed up for a half-marathon! I have until May 5 to get myself into shape. Now, I don't plan on running the entire thing...I am an asthmatic...not an excuse, but a medical fact that my lung capacity will not allow me to run the entire way. With that said, I do plan to finish in 3 hours...I trained for one last year, but I injured myself the month before. So, here is to 2013...my year to STAY ON SPARKPEOPLE, eat healthy, and exercise. Will it be perfect...no...but I have discovered it is not an all-or-nothing way of life...it is a well-rounded way of living:)
