Operation Mini-Me!

Well here we go again...
Hey guess what?! I'm starting over! ...Again...
;-)

I know. It's a bit ridiculous, but you know what? As long as my 'try agains' outweigh my 'failed agains' I'll come out on top in the end!

My Goals:
I want to be a healthy weight for my frame. I''m 5''tall, 190# and shooting for 110# as my ultimate goal weight, to be achieved by the end of this deployment.

My Program:
I''m the Poster Child for yo-yo dieting. Fortunately not a fad dieter, just an inconsistent one! So, I'm watching what I eat, and trying to burn it off as I go.

Been a stressful couple of years: back to back deployments, a couple of failed pregnancies, fertility treatments, blown out knee, and accompanying surgery/recovery. Ugh.
Yeah. Been rough, but now it's time to get myself focused and squared up...

This time round, I'm trying something new (for me): Live to Eat by Dr Joel Fuhrman. Basically, I"m going vegan. I hate meat, and allergic to milk and cheese, so this is not a stretch. Letsee if it works for me, shall we? ;)

Personal Information:
My name is Jennifer, I''m a Navy wife (no kids) living in Newport News, VA. :)

Medic, I just finished reading your blog. First I would like say how much I appreciate what your husband does for our country. My husband is a member of the American Legion. I would like you to know that if you are in need of help while he is deployed check with your local Legion post. They are there to help the veterans young and old an their families. I wish you luck on your journey.

Debbie

Were you at the NAEA convention?

And which Medici do you prefer?

Thanks for the comments about my Spaniels :) My dogs are show dogs, so they tend to be slightly smaller than most pets . . . my oldest dog (almost 10) weighs about 23 pounds, my female (almost 3) weighs about 21 pounds, and my youngest (roughly 16 months old) weighs about 24 pounds.

We are a small group but I hope to see you post. I looks like you have a good handle of your weight loss. I love your home page.
