HEALTHY, HAPPY AND ALIVE

I am over sixty years young, i feel ninety. i lack motivation. i get hungry often, i am diabetic. i have no security walking alone. i also have bad knees. i am a stress eater. however i love doing crafts,sometimes sewing. i love being around family and close friends. i clearly want to lose a large amount of weight without surgery. Staying motivated is difficult.

I also lacked motivation & focus this year and didn't lose in my losing weight. I've had a very difficult year and lost my focus and willpower to do this for myself. I'm vowing to make the New Year 2015 be my year to lose a significant amount of weight. I'm going to eat right with less food, snack healthy and exercise more. I believe you can do it for yourself as no one else can. You might want to join the Winter Weight Loss Challenge. There is plenty of time as it doesn't end until March. Hi!! I understand your struggles. I have a lot of weight to lose. I have already lost one person and have two persons to go. I have diabetes and complications from it. It is a hard road to travel but it is worth it. Take one day at a time. That's all any of us can do. Try to take advantage of as many sites on SparkPeople that you can. There are a number of teams and I am sure you will be able to find one that fits your needs. There are a lot of people here that will be happy to support you! Praying for you! emoticon

emoticon Welcome to the Over 60. . .Team. I'm really happy you joined it with us. Be sure and set a few mini goals such as drinking more water, getting in 10 minutes of exercise a day and then try your best to achieve those doable goals each day. You'll be surprised at how good you'll feel and it will help motivate you do emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon more as you feel better and healthier. Take one day at a time. We didn't gain this weight overweight so we have to be patient as it could take us years to lose our excess weight. Take good care of yourself!
