I got curves that jiggle jangle jiggle...

Enough mind games. Enough slacking off. Its time to set a new, realistic goal for the rest of 2011 and make it happen! I wasted most of April and pretty much all of May by making bad choices and allowing myself to indulge way too often. But hey...pobody's nerfect...and I'm far from it. But it's time to make a reasonable, solid goal and get off my cushy butt and move.

I've upped my workouts and added a mileage goal. Set my goal to be at 250 by the end of 2011.

I'm also going to get back to blogging and participating in the social aspects of Spark.

This is for life! This not until I'm "done" or "at goal weight" or whatever.....if I stop when I'm "finished" I'll have to start again one day. Its time for a lifetime commitment to MYSELF!

My Goals:
I want to change my approach to everything. To strengthen my body and my mind. To rekindle my spiritual spark. To be more comfortable in my skin and to feel as beautiful on the outside as I suspect I am on the inside.

SPECIFICALLY by the end of 2011 I want to:
Sit comfortably on the floor (and get up with some grace)
Strengthen my muscles to eliminate knee pain.

My Program:
**Proper nutrition
**Portion control.
**Cardio 20mn/day 3x/wk.
**Strength 2x/wk.
**Good stretching - yoga?
**Daily meditation.
**Drink lots of water.
**Honest tracking.
**Weekly blog updates.
**Monthly photo updates.
**Sleep 8hrs per night!


Personal Information:
I'm Maureen. I live near Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I am happily divorced and share my home with a dog and a cat.

My paralegal job pays the bills. Making jewelry and drumming feed my soul!

Other Information:
I love drumming! There was a time not so long ago when I was comfortable sitting on the floor with my drum. (Which includes getting down and up gracefully) I'm looking forward to moving from my chair back to the floor again.......one day.
