I'll never~ever~ever give up!

I feel like I'm the luckiest person in the world.
I try to live every day in gratitude for my life
as it is
TODAY,
right now,
in this very minute.
I'm retired at 61 and still paying my bills (barely).
I've been married forever (44 years!)
to the man of my dreams (most days).
My 3 children are all grown,
as happy and as healthy as I could make them.
I finally became a grammy in 2009!
Now we have two little darlins.

Time to get rid of these extra 50 pounds that have crept up on me in the last 20 -30 years of living the good life.

5/16 -0 (after 2 weeks of increased calories)

5/31 -0 down 3lbs for May, 18 altogether

April- yahoo!!! increased calories- down 2 pounds!
update- it's Oct-2010- on a one year plateau but not giving up- never, ever, ever. Every month I try something new.

ANOTHER NEW update- after maintaining 168 for SO long, my weight crept up 1-2 lbs a month since I developed hip bursitis and I am now (June 2011) hovering around 180.
9/1/2012 update- STILL hovering around 180...
Will I give up?

Zubaz are those really bright colored/patterned loose pants that weight lifters used to wear back in the early/mid 1990's. They're still around, but not nearly as popular.

Ringers are t-shirts that are predominantly one color (possibly with a graphic), but the collar and the end of the sleeves have a matching different color.

They are both fairly retro sartorial concepts (though the ringers have definitely made a comeback as part of the hipster movement).
